Barcelona take on Real Sociedad on Saturday without Luis Suarez, who is serving a one-game ban for picking up five bookings.

The league leaders will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Real Madrid to at least maintain their six-point advantage at the top of the standings.

But the Anoeta Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for the Catalan giants over the past decade, with Barca having lost four and drawn one of their past five league visits to San Sebastian. Their last league win there came nine years ago.

On top of that Barca have taken just one point from their past two games, even if they did get back to winning ways with a 2-1 success over Atletico Madrid in their Champions League quarter-final first leg in midweek.

Looking ahead to the meeting with Sociedad, coach Luis Enrique told reporters: "If we look at the precedents it is clear that there is no other stadium in Spain as difficult for us.

"I would say that it is the most difficult away match of the season. We are in the situation that we need to show that we are consistent and strong.

"Since Real Sociedad returned to the top flight Barcelona hasn't won there, it doesn't matter which manager is in charge, so there is something to this.

"A streak that long merits some reflection to evaluate what has happened so we can get to work, because only one thing is certain, it will be a difficult match."
