Chelsea winger Christian Atsu has completed his move to Newcastle on a season-long loan.
Atsu's move includes an option for the Magpies to buy the Ghana international outright at the end of the loan spell next summer.
The 24-year-old signed for Chelsea in a £3.5m deal from Porto in 2013 but did not make a first-team appearance for the Blues.
"I'm very happy to be at Newcastle," Atsu told the Newcastle website. "It's a very big club. They have good facilities and I think Newcastle have one of the best coaches in the world.
"St. James' Park is a fantastic stadium with 50,000 fans; the fans here really love football so much and I can't wait to play at this stadium in front of the fans."
The winger, who was named Player of the Tournament during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, has been loaned out in each of his three seasons since signing a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez added: "I agreed with our fans that we needed to bring in another winger, so I am very happy to welcome Christian to the Club.
"He has good ability and pace in the wide areas and also has good experience of English football.
"He has a different style of play to the other players we have at the moment and that will be important for the squad."
Atsu, who has made 42 international appearances for Ghana, joined Vitesse Arnhem in 2013-14, Everton in 2014-15 and both Bournemouth and Malaga last season.
