Jurgen Klopp says he and Diego Costa could never be friends

Liverpool suffered their worst January during the Premier League era last month - but how bad was it?

January is Liverpool's worst month for winning games during the Premier League era, but last month was also their worst to date.

The Reds only recorded one victory from nine fixtures in all competitions - a 1-0 win at Plymouth in an FA Cup third round replay, before being dumped out of the competition at the hands of Wolves on Saturday.

In total, Liverpool's win percentage last month was almost twice as bad as their previous worst January results from the Premier League era in 1992/93 and 2008/09 - when they won one of five fixtures in both seasons.
