Title races all over Europe are hotting up, but top clubs have already got one eye on the summer transfer market, according to the European press.

Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the foreign papers to round up the biggest transfer stories.

Italy

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to send scouts to Italy to run the rule over 19-year-old Juventus midfielder Francesco Cassata, who is currently on loan with Ascoli. The Italian teenager has played 25 times in Serie B this season, and the Reds are reportedly considering an £8.5m bid. (Il Bianco Nero)

Juventus have already rebuffed a Premier League club's attempt to sign one of their young stars recently, having turned down a £25m bid from Arsenal for highly-rated 22-year-old centre-back Daniele Rugani. (Calciomercato)

Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is on Inter's wish list of central defenders, which already includes Marquinhos, Kostas Manolas, Stefan de Vrij and Aymeric Laporte. (Corriere dello Sport)

Spain

Chelsea have made a £34million bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata. The Blues reportedly attempted in signing the 24-year-old Spanish international last summer and will now rekindle their interest with the player, who is thought to be unhappy at the Bernabeu having largely been used as a substitute this term. However, Chelsea are not the only club interested in Morata - he is also a target for AC Milan. Their prospective new Chinese owners are prepared to fork out €150m (£127m) to secure the capture of the Real Madrid striker along with midfield team-mate Isco. (AS)

Germany

If Bayer Leverkusen are unable to qualify for European competition next season they could stand to lose some of their bright young stars, with Kai Havertz, Julian Brandt and Benjamin Henrichs all being monitored by top clubs across Europe. (Bild)

Highly-rated 19-year-old Bastia midfielder Allan Saint-Maximin has revealed that he turned down the chance to sign for Paris Saint-Germain when he was 14. (France Football)

Portugal

Manchester United target Nelson Semedo has reaffirmed his commitment to Benfica, insisting that, contracted to the club until 2021, he is focused entirely on the Eagles and wants to stay in Lisbon for "many more years".
