The transfer window is hotting up and our friends at Football Whispers have rounded up all the latest transfer rumours from across Europe.

Italy

Inter have entered the race for Nemanja Matic and have been told he will cost €40million (£35.3million). The midfielder was a Manchester United transfer target but Chelsea will not sell him to their Premier League rivals after they beat the Blues to Romelu Lukaku. (Corriere dello Sport)

Arsenal have given Wojciech Szczesny the green light to leave the Emirates permanently and sign for Juventus. (Corriere dello Sport)

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta will close a deal for Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa in Germany today. The two clubs have agreed a deal, a €6million (£5.3million) loan, before a compulsory purchase of €40million next summer. The 26-year-old Brazilian will get a yearly salary of €7million (£6.1million). (La Gazzetta dello Sport)

Spain

Atletico Madrid are negotiating with Monaco over the possible signing of Fabinho. The right-back-turned-midfielder was a Paris Saint-Germain transfer target, but the Ligue 1 club weren't willing to negotiate with a club in the same division as them. (AS)

A meeting has taken place between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe's entourage. PSG boss Unai Emery has met with the 18-year-old's father to lay out plans for the club should the Monaco forward move to the French capital. (L'Equipe)

PSG and Manchester City transfer target Dani Alves will decide his future in the next 24 hours. He could be swayed by the French side as his wife Joana Sanz is under contract with a Parisian modelling agency. (Le Parisien)
