European paper talk: Chelsea and Liverpool target Max Kruse allowed to leave

Our friends at Football Whispers round-up the latest transfer news from the European papers as Chelsea and Liverpool target Max Kruse is told he is allowed to leave Werder Bremen.

GERMANY

Werder Bremen sporting director, Frank Baumann, says that Max Kruse wants to leave the club. He is a Chelsea and Liverpool transfer target and scored 15 goals in 24 games last season. The 29-year-old can play in multiple roles through the middle and is available at €18m (£16m). (SportBild)

After Leonardo Bonucci left for Milan, there are suggestions that Mats Hummels would be Juventus' priority to replace the Italian centre-back this summer. The German is priced at €50m (£44.8m). (SportBild)

SPAIN

All the talk across Europe surrounds Paris Saint-Germain signing Brazilian forward Neymar, but Barcelona head coach, Ernesto Valverde, isn't worried: "This is a time of rumours, we understand that, but Neymar is with us and he is a player that we love a lot for his football and for what he brings to the dressing room," he told press ahead of a friendly against Juventus. "I have not spoken with him about his future, we have talked about tactical questions. We count on him absolutely." (Marca)

If the 25-year-old is allowed to leave the Nou Camp, Paulo Dybala is the most obvious target to take his place and the Argentine was asked about Barca's interest. "We all like good players, but above all I like mine, those are the ones that I like the most," he said. "If you sign someone, you do so because you know they will come to improve the team." (Marca)

Neymar met with Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu in New Jersey on Friday and reports suggest that after about 15 minutes the president left the room and didn't speak to anyone. Brazilian right-back, Danilo, said goodbye to his Real Madrid team-mates ahead of his move to Manchester City. The deal should be complete soon and the Spanish club are unlikely to replace him at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer. Winger Lucas Vazquez is apparently training to cover in the defensive role. Liverpool may have rejected a €72m (£64.6m) offer from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho, but the Spanish club haven't given up. They see him as an alternative to signing Marco Verratti. Not the same type of player, they still think the Brazilian will fit their midfield. (Mundo Deportivo)

FRANCE

Neymar has told his team-mates will leave the Spanish side this summer. "Neymar has said yes to PSG." The deal is 95% done and he has already spoken to Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Lucas Moura and Dani Alves about his new club. (Le Parisien)

PSG have never been closer to signing their star player, Neymar. The French side are finally seeing their dream summer coming together. They believe to considered in the same breath as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona they need sign one of the top five players in the world. (L'Equipe)

Worrying for Arsenal fans is that the signing of Neymar won't rule out a potential move for Manchester City transfer target, Alexis Sanchez this summer. It's believed the club would be able to accommodate both forwards in their new-look team. (L'Equipe)

Benjamin Mendy's move to Manchester City looks to have taken a step closer after the English club apparently agreed to pay €57.5m (£51.6m). That's just more than they paid for Kyle Walker and it seems it's that gesture that has convinced Monaco to finalise the move. (L'Equipe)

Inter Milan are still trying to sign Southampton transfer target Yann Karamoh from Caen this summer. They have made a bid of around €6m (£5.4m), but it is still short of the French club's valuation. (L'Equipe)

ITALY

Juventus are close to signing Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina for €40m (£35.8m). The Florence club will receive 10% of any resale value and now the player is chasing the No.10 jersey, just like Roberto Baggio. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Milan are still trying to sign Portuguese midfielder and former Manchester United transfer target, Renato Sanchez on loan this summer. They have apparently been given their blessing by Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti. (Tuttosport)
