Mauricio Pochettino speaks about Kieran Trippier's progress and how this could affect Kyle Walker-Peters

Tottenham's Kieran Trippier could be fit to play against Premier League champions Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday.

The right-back injured his ankle during a pre-season friendly with Juventus on August 5 and missed their opening-day win over Newcastle last weekend.

Pochettino has not ruled Trippier out for the clash against their fierce London rivals, and he remains hopeful ahead of a final assessment for the player on Saturday.

"We are so happy with Kieran and we have one more training session to assess him," Pochettino said.

"He has a chance but first of all we need to assess him again tomorrow, then we'll see if he's ready."
