We round up the latest Liverpool transfer rumours from around the British and European press on Tuesday, August 29.

Liverpool are ready to spend another £135m to land Virgil van Dijk and Thomas Lemar - after making Naby Keita their club-record signing, according to reports in the Sun.

Liverpool have already seen two bids turned down by the Ligue 1 side for the winger, according to Sky sources.

And the Daily Mail says Liverpool have launched a £200m spending spree, starting with the £55m signing of Keita for next summer.

Sky Sports News understands the club will pay the £48m release clause that will allow the Guinea international to move to Anfield, as well as an undisclosed premium.

Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph are reporting that Liverpool's bid to sign Lemar could be boosted by Monaco's interest in striker Divock Origi.

The Belgian frontman has mainly been surplus to requirements at Anfield so far this season.
