Ipswich goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski says he is committed to the club despite reported interest from Crystal Palace

Ipswich goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski has reiterated that he wants to stay at the club but says his dream is to play in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old Poland international was linked with a move to Crystal Palace in January but Ipswich have put a new contract on the table and Bialkowski appears close to signing.

He said: "Obviously there are still a couple of things to sort out but hopefully we are going to sign the deal soon.

"I've still got the option for next year but like I said there are a couple more things that need to be sorted but I have said so many times before I love this place, I love the club and I'm really happy here."

Bialkowski has been a regular for Ipswich in the Championship this season but he craves the opportunity to play in the Premier League.

"Yeah of course. When I signed for Ipswich I thought it was going to be with Ipswich but maybe not this season, maybe the next one you just never know," he added.

"Every footballer dreams to play at the highest level possible and it is still my dream".

Bialkowski is also dreaming of playing in the World Cup this summer. Poland head coach Adam Nawalka was at Portman Road on Sunday and although the goalkeeper was arguably at fault for Norwich's late equaliser in the 1-1 draw, the goalkeeper has reason to believe he will at least get into the squad.
