Thibaut Courtois says he will be at Chelsea next year regardless of whether he signs a new contract.

The 25-year-old Belgium goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but he insists there is unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to Belgium TV channel Sporza, he said: "I've got one more year at Chelsea and I'm feeling good there. At the end of the season, we'll sit together and develop a good vision.

"I'm looking calmly forward to it and I know that I will be at Chelsea next year as well."

"If I can go to the World Cup with a clear idea - signing a new contract or waiting one more year - I will be relaxed.

"I'm still proud to play at Chelsea and I want to win more trophies there."

Courtois has been suffering with a "muscular problem" in the last couple of weeks but he joined up with the Belgium squad in the hope he would be fit for Tuesday's friendly international against Saudi Arabia.

However, he has since returned to Chelsea to continue his rehabilitation, although Belgium coach Roberto Martinez believes he should be fit for Sunday's Premier League match with Tottenham live on Sky Sports.

Belgium begin their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 18, and face Tunisia and England in the remaining Group G matches.
