Zinedine Zidane will put finishing second behind Barcelona ahead of prioritising a Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich when Athletic Bilbao visit the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, live on Sky Sports Football.

His side trail second-placed rivals Atletico Madrid by four points with six games to play in La Liga, and have only finished outside the top two once since 2004.

They have dropped 10 points from winning positions this season - four in two games prior to their recent poor run - and could be set for their lowest-finish in nine years, since they finished in 13th, their current position, back in 2009.

But a win in the capital could take them into the top half, with even the likes of Girona in eighth, only five points better off than the Basque side, not out of reach should their form pick up.
