Having earned one win and one draw already at Liverpool, West Brom will be looking to complete an unbeaten season against Jurgen Klopp's men on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.

All may not be lost for West Brom after all. It seemed a matter of time before their relegation back to the Championship would be confirmed, ahead of a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United and a clash with in-form Liverpool. However, after a shock 1-0 victory over United last weekend, the Premier League's bottom club have earned themselves a stay of execution ahead of the visit of Liverpool.

Live Premier League

Liverpool are in fine form, and have not been beaten by West Brom in the last five Premier League seasons. This campaign, though, things have been a little different.

Having just coming out of a miserable run of 20 leagues games without a win - Derby are the only club to endure a worse winless record in a single Premier League season - West Brom went on to beat Liverpool 3-2 at Anfield in the FA Cup at the end of January.

It wasn't the first time Liverpool had been frustrated by West Brom this season, either. Back in December, a week after Liverpool had put seven past Spartak Moscow in the Champions League, West Brom came to Anfield in the early days of Alan Pardew's tenure - a heavy defeat seemed in the offing.

To make matters worse for the beleaguered West Brom, 14 games into that winless run, they were up against all of the 'Fab Four', with Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah starting. Nonetheless, even though Liverpool had over 71 per cent possession in the match, the visitors held out for an impressive 0-0 draw - and no-one in the Premier League has a better record (W1, D1) against the Reds this season in all competitions.

"[Liverpool] had all the big hitters out there, it wasn't like we came up against a Liverpool side who had left a few out, it was a real force," Pardew said after the match. "We kept them quiet and I think the players can be very proud of their performance."

It would still take nothing short of a miracle for West Brom to make the greatest of escapes, but after their success at Old Trafford, they will come into Saturday's Liverpool clash full of confidence.

The Sunday Supplement panel discussed Mohamed Salah’s superb debut season and whether he can maintain his form in the coming years

They attacked without fear against United, but retained their shape, finishing the game having had the same number of shots on target as United, despite Jose Mourinho throwing all his attacking weapons at the Darren Moore's men.

With Salah chasing a record-breaking goalscoring season, Liverpool will certainly take some stopping, but having already frustrated Jurgen Klopp's men twice, as well as United on Sunday, a Liverpool victory may not come as easy as many think.
