Rangers have been hit with a double Old Firm blow after Graeme Murty confirmed Wes Foderingham and Bruno Alves will both sit out Sunday's clash at Celtic Park.

Foderingham is having treatment on a long-standing shoulder injury, meaning understudy Jak Alnwick will deputise against Brendan Rodgers' side, while Euro 2016 winner Alves has failed to recover in time from the hamstring injury he sustained in this month's Hampden thrashing by the Hoops.

Rangers skipper Lee Wallace and striker Kenny Miller remain unavailable due to a club suspension while Hamburg-bound defender David Bates (ankle) and midfielder Ryan Jack (knee) are still injured.

The Ibrox side started with Jason Cummings against Hearts but Alfredo Morelos will be pushing for a return against Celtic.
