Pedro: Chelsea winger signs Stamford Bridge contract extension
Last updated on .From the section Chelsea
Chelsea forward Pedro has signed a one-year contact extension that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2020.
Pedro, 31, joined the Blues from Barcelona in August 2015 for £21m and helped the club win the Premier League in 2016-17 and last season's FA Cup.
The Spain winger has scored 28 goals in 131 games and netted in pre-season against Perth Glory and Inter Milan.
"I am comfortable here and want to win new titles and trophies," said Pedro, who spent nine seasons at Barcelona.

In other words "cfc has been rotten since becoming the most successful side in the country".
I wonder which of the above is actually the real motivator behind your comment?
Think he will fit into Sarri's system very well as that out and out winger role Callejon use to play. Certainly seems to be enjoying it in preseason anyway!
White Hart Lane the only place in the Capital to watch Champions League Football, be there!
I do not think so unless they are playing on a building sight.
Incredible a so called spurs fan does not even know that their new stadium is called the Tottenham hotspur stadium.
Chelsea don't necessarily need to spend. A good start would be using the umpteen players that they already have or shipping some out. Barklay out, Ruben in would be a start!
Are you saying Pedro does not deserve a 1 year extension because he was signed by Mourinho and the club decided Salah was not ready for the first team at that point? Poor poor logic there.
Its a 1 year extension, thats all, nobody is expecting him to light up the premier league with this new deal. He's a squad player and nothing more, will be used for pointless league cup/euro games...
Surely you would rather keep a player who knows the premier league, a good squad player who is a good back up on not mega wages. Its hard to just sign one of those wingers you mentioned unless you are going to pay big money and big wages to drop Hazard/Willian without Champions League football.
This isnt a 'Heres a big pay rise, you are first choice now' sort of contract.
Great news
