Fulham have completed the signing of Arsenal defender Calum Chambers on a season-long loan deal.

Chambers, 23, is the seventh new arrival at Craven Cottage this summer following the London club's return to the Premier League.

"I watched a lot of Fulham last season, I really like the way they play football," said Chambers.

"There's a good manager, it's a great club, so I'm really excited for the season ahead."

Chambers played 12 Premier League games for Arsenal last season.

New Gunners manager Unai Emery said the England international has a bright future in the game.

"We all believe this loan at Fulham will be an important part of his development and wish him a successful season," said the Spaniard.

Fulham entertain Crystal Palace on Saturday (15:00 BST) in their first game back in the Premier League since 2013-14.

Chambers joins Germany World Cup winner Andre Schurrle, Swansea defender Alfie Mawson and forward Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle to have moved to Fulham this summer.

Ivory Coast midfielder Jean Michael Seri, goalkeeper Fabri and Nice defender Maxime Le Marchand have also joined.
